Commuters are facing travel delays this morning after one of Glasgow's Subway lines has been suspended.

Subway staff tweeted this morning informing passengers that a broken down train on the inner circle is impacting the line.

The outer circle is currently running as normal.

Passengers on the inner line should expect delays while work is done regarding the train, currently located between Kinning Park and Shields Road.

Glasgow Subway wrote just before 7am: "Inner Circle currently suspended due to broken down train between Kinning Park and Shields Road.

"Apologies for the inconvenience.

"Outer Circle is running as normal.

"Updates to follow."

UPDATE: Glasgow Subway confirmed the inner subway was running as normal at 8am.
