Commuters in Glasgow are facing huge parking bills if they choose to park and ride on trains across the country.
A survey of parking costs at train stations across the UK has shown that Glasgow Central has the highest daily rate of parking of any station in Scotland.
Those wishing to park at Central before taking the train are asked to pay £24 per day.
Outside of London, only those living in Reading were asked to pay more than Glaswegians.
The high rates of parking costs could see full-time workers paying more than £6000 yearly.
In comparison, those using the car park at Edinburgh Waverley also faced high costs, with the daily rate their setting drivers back £22.
Meanwhile, those parking and using Paisley Gilmour Street or Stirling stations paid just £3 and £3.50 per day respectively.
