Commuters heading to Glasgow are facing lengthy delays this morning after a crash on a busy motorway.
Emergency services were called to the M80 southbound near to junction 7 at Haggs just after 7.30am this morning.
Traffic Scotland CCTV footage from that time showed heavy traffic starting to form behind the incident.
The collision happened on the third lane of the motorway with all three lanes being brought to a standstill.
Traffic Scotland later updated that the RTC had been moved on to the hard shoulder.
All lanes were running at around 8am with traffic remaining heavy on approach.
There are no details yet of any injuries in the crash.
