HAVE you seen these women?

There is a jail break on this weekend and for 36 hours Lois Forbes and Jeanie Gibbs are among more than 10 teams taking part the daring event.

The duo were among several students who kicked off the charity event on Friday.  Their aim is to complete the Glasgow University Charity Fashion Show Jailbreak 2019 with any money raised through a justgiving page going to Glasgow Women’s Aid.

They have until Monday to get as far away from Glasgow as possible – but there is a catch they have no money and can’t accept money.

The Evening Times caught up with Lois and Jeanie when they were trying to make their way out of the city centre.

Lois said: “We were on the hunt for food and travel but have no money. We have to do everything for free. We want to get as far away from Glasgow as possible.

“So if you can give us a train, plane or bus ticket, we would love to hear from you. It’s all for a great cause.”

It is likely they might be hungry for some time as their bid for free scran was getting a knock back from some city centre food outlets.

Lois added: “We are very determined and won’t give up. It will be great to see where everyone ends up when the 36 hours are up.”

Partner in crime  Jeanie said: “This is great opportunity, but we need as much help as possible. We will be getting touch with whoever we can to help us.”

The jailbreak has returned for it's third annual event. The teams of students will be undertaking the mission to get as far away from Glasgow as possible in 36 hours without spending any money on transport while raising funds and awareness for Glasgow Women's Aid.
