Remembrance Sunday takes place every year to honour the anniversary of the Armistice, which put an end to the First World War.
It takes place on the Sunday closest to November 11, and although it’s mainly associated and largely dedicated to the soldiers that lost their lives in both of the World Wars, it’s also a chance pay respects and tributes to all British troops who have died in all battles and wars.
Here are some of the local services organised by different councils from different regions that include Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Dunbartonshire, and Renfrewshire.
