Fernando Ricksen paid tribute to Rangers fans in one final heartbreaking final message before his death in September.
The tragic Rangers legend thanked the club's supporters, who he dubbed 'Simply the Best', for their support through his six-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
The 44-year-old was writing a new book about the club's history, highlighting famous moments and memories, reports the Scottish Sun.
His tribute came in the foreword of '10 matches 10 players' in August, just weeks before his death.

"The support from the football world to me has been amazing," Fernando wrote.
“And I am continuously reminded how lucky I was to play for Rangers.
“Rangers are a very special club and the fans are Simply the Best.”
Fernando highlighted some of the club's greatest achievements as described by some of its most recognised players, including Nacho Novo and Berry Ferguson.
Each sale of the book will see £1.50 donated to the Rangers Former Players Benevolent Fund.
