A custom car worth £45,000 has been stolen from a house in Renfrewshire.

The plush BMW M2, registration plate R22 SCT, was stolen during a housebreaking during the weekend at Bishopton. 

The vehicle has a number of distinguishing features, including a custom exhaust, carbon fibre wing mirrors and rear diffuser.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "This vehicle is valued at £45,000.

"Please help us find it for the owners - if you see it parked please call 101.
