A BRITAIN’S Got Talent star and a care home choir of residents with dementia will perform at a Christmas charity concert.
The event at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow is being organised by Epilepsy Scotland to raise funds for the organisation’s work.
The SoundRoutes singers, a group of community choirs, will be performing on the night, along with Britain’s Got Talent’s Edward Reid.
Also featuring is the Avon choir from Douglas View Care Home, made up of residents living with dementia.
Epilepsy Scotland’s head of fundraising Robyn Friel said: “We are looking forward to our Christmas concert in Glasgow and it is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit with family and friends.
“We are delighted that Edward Reid is performing on the night and thrilled to have local choirs, The Avon Choir and SoundRoutes Singers performing as well.
“It will be a great night in the stunning surroundings of St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral.”
The charity is celebrating its 65th anniversary.
Tickets for the December 6 event are £8 for adults, £5 for under 16s and concessions.
