FOUR teenagers were arrested last week after a man in his 20s was attacked on a bus in Boscombe.

The victim, who is from Christchurch, suffered injuries to his face during the incident, which happened on Morebus service X3.

The bus was stopped in Palmerston Road at 11.10pm on Friday, November 15 when the victim was attacked. He was taken to hospital for his injuries.

Three boys from Verwood and one from Blandford, all aged 16, were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. All four boys have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Laura Smith, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I believe there were four male passengers on the bus at the time and I am appealing to those men to come forward as they may have information to assist my investigation.”
