Police have been scouring the area around Glennifer Braes in Paisley as they search for the body of missing Patricia Henry.

Patricia was last seen at her home address in Girvan in November 2017.

A major search was launched in the months that followed, and in July this year, a man was arrested and charged in suspicion of her murder.

However, Patricia's body has not yet been found.

Now, police are focusing their search in the Glennifer Braes area of Paisley.

The Paisley Daily Express reports how officers spent around an hour in freezing temperatures at a woodland area on Braehead Road near to Paisley Golf Club.

A spokesman for the force told the Evening Times: “Police Scotland can confirm that searches have been taking place in the Paisley area which relates to the death of 47-year-old woman Patricia Henry.

“She was last seen in her home in November 2017.

“A 69-year-old man was arrested in July this year in connection with this death.”
