A FUNDRAISING drive has been launched for a young man who tragically died after his quad bike crashed into a lamp post in Knightswood.
David McMillan, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene following the accident on Archerhill Road last week.
Now hundreds of pounds have been raised in his memory through a Crowdfunding page.
Jennifer Bell, who set up the page, set a target of £5,000 for the family of the new dad whose son Rex was born six weeks ago.

She said: "Written with a heavy heart David tragically lost his life far too soon. Son to Irene and Thomas, Brother to Sean and Paul. Partner to Katie and daddy to their beautiful newborn baby boy Rex.
"David was loved by so many people and I'm hoping everyone can help me in raising some money at this devastating time for anything they as a family may need and for Katie and baby Rex‘s future."
More than £700 has been raised so far by wellwishers.
One said: "Totally devastating, your whole family is in my thoughts. So many fond childhood memories and working together in Marks. Such a nice boy, I’m so sorry, a lot of broken hearts."
Another added: "Thinking of you Irene, Tam, and the boys. My heart is hurting for you all. David was an absolute credit to you. Beautiful lad inside and out."
