Among her parliamentary activity is pursuing a members bill calling for a statutory right to a transitions plan for disabled children and young people in Scotland, a move she says will ensure that they have a fighting chance at a future.

Duncan-Glancy said: "I am honoured to have been named in the Disability Power Top 100.

"For years I have campaigned to improve the rights of disabled people across Scotland, having focused my entire career on promoting equalities and human rights for all.

“I wanted to show disabled people that they too can achieve anything they set their sights on.

“The Disability Power List is crucial to this too, and I thank them for their tireless efforts to recognise disabled people and their outstanding contribution to our society.”
