This is the adorable moment a baby aged just 14 weeks old said his first words - his dad's best friend's name.
The video shows smiley tot Theo Ferriman clearly echoing his mother Lindsay's words as she tried to get him to say "Hello, Deany" to the family's close pal.
She says the moment came the day after 'Deany', or James Dean, had challenged Lindsay to get her son to say his name before 'Mama' or 'Dada'.
"It was an absolute shock, none of us expected to hear him say it quite that early," said the 32-year-old mum-of-one from Nottingham, Notts.
"Deany had been round for dinner the night before it happened, and he'd said wouldn't it be funny if Theo said his name before he said anything else.
"And then the next day I was having a bit of a play with him and after a couple of minutes he said it back to me. It was pretty precise - I was quite shocked."
Account manager Lindsay added that her husband Curtis, 40, an audio-visual engineer, was at work at the time and missed the big moment.
She said: "I don't want to say he was unimpressed, but he wasn't completely impressed either that Theo had said Deany's name first.
"It was good news and bad news. He was obviously surprised about it but then he went, well, great, his first word was Deany.
"But Deany loved it. He's got the audio clip as a text message tone on his phone now," Lindsay added.
And she said that Theo, who is now two, didn't speak his next proper word - which was 'Mama' - until about four months later.
Lindsay said: "His vocabulary is pretty much all there now. He's a little chatterbox."
