A Glasgow car company is offering a £10,000 reward to anyone who can help catch the thugs who torched one of their motors.

Allied Vehicles Group is looking for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the sickening act, which took place on Saturday, February 3.

Two individuals were spotted travelling in a white Vauxhall Corsa to the firm's vehicle manufacturing storage compound on Hawthorn Street in the city's Springburn between 5.30am and 6am.

After they set fire to a car in the compound, the pair headed off and the Corsa was seen entering Walnut Road at 5.58am, leaving again at 7.24am to head along Hawthorn Street.

It turned left onto Springburn Road before heading in the direction of Bishopbriggs.

CCTV shared by Allied Vehicles shows the attackers running to and from the scene, and the vehicle making its getaway.

They slammed the firebugs, saying: "Not only did this cause thousands of pounds worth of damage, but it could also have placed nearby residents at risk had the fire spread.

"We’re offering a reward of £10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction."

If you have information that could lead to an arrest, Allied Vehicles can be contacted by email at information@alliedvehicles.co.uk or by leaving a voicemail on 0141 336 1234.

They will pass the details to the police and can do so anonymously if preferred.
