A major road in Glasgow has been closed due to an 'emergency'.
Glasgow City Council has said Shettleston Road has been shut between Old Shettleston Road and Fernan Street in the city's East End.
The local authority revealed the road has been closed to allow emergency road repairs.
Drivers are being urged to expect delays in the area.
A diversion will also be in place for road users.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: "To allow for emergency road repairs, Shettleston Road is currently closed to all traffic between Old Shettleston Road and Fernan Street."
