A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on a busy road.
The incident took place on Main Street in Wishaw shortly after 5pm on Tuesday, April 9.
Police say they were called to a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
Following that, a 25-year-old woman, who was the pedestrian, was taken to hospital for treatment.
She was later discharged.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 5.20pm on April 9, we were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on Main Street, Wishaw.
"A 25-year-old woman was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment and later discharged."
