Specialist cops have recovered a 'quantity of drugs' after a property raid in Paisley.

Officers from the Renfrewshire Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit carried out a search at a premises on George Street in the town on Thursday, April 18.

During it, cops say they found a "quantity of Class A drugs".

Following it, a 38-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged drug offences.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "On Thursday, April 18, officers from Renfrewshire Alcohol and Violence reduction unit searched a property on George Street, Paisley under warrant and recovered a quantity of Class A drugs.

"A 38-year-old male and 43-year-old female will be reported to the PF for drug offences.
