SCOTLAND Under-21 ace Islam Feruz made his senior Chelsea debut yesterday as the Premier League side defeated a Malaysia XI 4-1.
The 17-year-old replaced Kevin De Bruyne after 32 minutes of the match in Kuala Lumpur as Jose Mourinho's men continued their pre-season tour of Asia.
Feruz played in central midfield before Mourinho made nine changes at the interval.
He joined the Blues from Celtic in September 2011 and in April 2012 became the youngest-ever player to represent Scotland at under-21 level when he featured against Italy aged 16 years and 197 days.
He scored his first goals for Billy Stark's side in the 3-2 defeat to Portugal in November.
Mourinho has taken several of the club's younger players with the senior squad in a bid to give them experience before the season begins.
