FORMER Rangers midfielder John Fleck has been named in the PFA League One team of the year after helping Sheffield United to the title.

The 25-year-old departed Ibrox for Coventry City in 2012 before joining the Blades last summer on a three-year deal. 

Fleck has provided 16 assists and four goals in 42 league appearances as Sheffield United won the title with time to spare, guaranteeing a return to the Championship.

In League Two, former Celtic, Ross County and St Mirren midfielder Graham Carey has been named in the PFA team of the year after an excellent season with Plymouth Argyll.

The Irishman helped Derek Adams' side earn promotion with 13 goals and 15 assists in 41 games.
