THE dates of Rangers' Europa League first qualifying round tie against Progres Niederkorn have been confirmed. 

Pedro Caixinha's side will host the team from Luxembourg on Thursday June 29 at 7.45pm, as European football returns to Ibrox for the first time in six years. 

The return leg will then be played at the Stade Jose Barthel on Tuesday July 4. A kick-off time is yet to be confirmed, although Rangers say UEFA have intimated it will be before 6pm CET and confirmed by Friday at the latest.

Meanwhile, St Johnstone will host FC Trakai of Lithuania on Thursday 29 June before travelling for the away leg a week later on Thursday 6 July.
