ZENIT St Petersburg star Christian Noboa has revealed his colleagues will spend their winter training camp studying Celtic.

The Hoops face the Russian cracks in the Last 32 tie in the Europa League next month, with the first leg at Parkhead.

Although Zenit are on their winter break, they will fly to United Arab Emirates this week and then Turkey for two training camps and will play six games before they face Brendan Rodgers’ side.

And Ecuadorian international Noboa has warned his team mates to expect a tough tie against the Scottish champions.

He said: “Of course I know Celtic well.

“The Scots are strong in attack, they press their opponents hard and are particularly powerful at home.

“We know they have a very good record in Glasgow.

“But we will be preparing very hard for this game when we are at the training camp.

“We have been told we will study them in detail at our camps.

“The way our manager, Roberto Mancini works, I know we will look at Celtic a lot and study their tactics.”
