HAMILTON Academical captain Michael Devlin has joined Aberdeen for an undisclosed fee.
The centre-back put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year deal at Pittodrie on Friday after making almost 150 appearances for Martin Canning's side.
Devlin is yet to make an appearance this season as he continues to recover from a cruciate ligament injury.
The 24-year-old has joined Derek McInnes' squad as the Dons continue to resist Hull City's interest in fellow defender Scott McKenna.
"Derek McInnes didn’t have to sell the club to me," Devlin told afc.co.uk.
"As soon as I heard of Aberdeen’s interest I couldn’t wait to join the Dons to hopefully win trophies and play regular European football.”
