RANGERS’ kids will face their counterparts from Spartak Moscow after a request from boss Steven Gerrard.
The Light Blues Under-20s beat the likes of Bayern Munich, Leicester and FC Copenhagen last season.
Gerrard’s side face the Russians in the Europa League and a Spartak statement read: “We will bring our youth team to play a game in Glasgow and then the players will go to Ibrox for the game at night. Rangers have also agreed to bring a youth team to Moscow.
“The instigator for these games between the youth sides is Steven Gerrard, the manager of Rangers.Last season, he brought his Liverpool team to Moscow to play a friendly and insisted his Rangers team meet us again.”
