Odsonne Edouard netted a 96th minute winner as Celtic sunk Dundee with a last gasp goal. The late striker, which gave Celtic a 1-0 win, takes the Parkhead side ten points clear at the top of the table. It was a goal that did not look as though it would ever come for Celtic who toiled for large chunks against the Dens Park side. It was Edouard who took the credit for a winner that had Neil Lennon racing down the touchline to grab the corner flag in celebration but James Forrest deserved credit for his part in the goal too. The winger had managed to cut the ball into the path of the Frenchman's path for Edouard to net. It was, though, a fairly forgettable performance from Celtic against an organised and robust Dundee side.
Scott Sinclair thought he should have had a first-half penalty while a Forrest volley from the edge of the box had been blocked, ironically, by Brown. Forrest clipped the bar with the last kick of the ball and ultimately from Celtic's point of view it was all about the end result.
