KILMARNOCK keeper Daniel Bachmann has claimed Rangers have expressed an interest in clinching a deal for him this summer.

The 24-year-old has established himself as first choice at Rugby Park this term as Steve Clarke’s side have enjoyed an impressive Premiership campaign.

Bachmann kept another clean sheet as Killie moved to within six points of Rangers with victory over Hamilton and said: “Rangers have made contact with my English agents. Of course it is pleasing that people have taken notice of my performances. But for now I will focus exclusively on Kilmarnock.

“From June onwards I will be a Watford player once more, and I want to make my name in the Premier League.

“Right now I am only bothered about helping Kilmarnock achieve their objectives.”
