MARY ‘Tiny’ Gallacher started working at Rangers in December 1967, the year just before I joined the club, and I have been lucky to know her ever since. I knew her mother, Lizzie, as well and the whole family have been involved with the club for so many years.
They are part of the history of Rangers, so I was delighted to be part of the group that made a presentation to her at half-time against Hearts.
Tiny is still Rangers daft and, even though she is in a home, she still tries to get to games. It was a wonderful reception that she got from the fans and she certainly deserved it.
If anyone has supported our club through thick and thin, it is Tiny and she is a huge part of Rangers.
Her whole family have devoted their lives to the club and it was terrific to see her again this week.
Deep down, I think Ally McCoist and Ian Durrant were her two favourites from all of those years she has been at Ibrox.
It was great to see Durranty back again and Tiny thoroughly deserved her guard of honour.
