A NEW report from the CEIS Football Observatory has revealed that Celtic and Rangers are among the top 20 best-supported clubs in the world.

The study, which examined average league attendances from 2013-2018, analysed attendances in 51 countries around the world.

Celtic were ranked in 16th place overall with 49,697 fans at Celtic Park on average, while Rangers were found to have the 18th-highest average attendance with 49,054.

Borussia Dortmund had the overall highest attendance, with over 80,000 fans attending each fixture on average. 

Atlanta United had the highest average attendance of any non-European club, with an average attendance of 51,547.
