IT is one thing changing the manager that leads the national team. But it is quite another putting in place plans that will have a bigger impact on the Scottish FA and Scottish football.
Alan McRae and Rod Petrie are the two that the fans have in their sights right now. It is time for fresh faces, for new thinking.
It is the same people that are making these decisions at Hampden year after year, time after time, and it isn’t working for our game.
The people that are running the game are making far too many mistakes. It is the old ‘vote for me and I’ll vote for you’ scenario and it needs a right good shake-up.

We need some younger, up-and-coming people with good ideas. We need someone that can do what Campbell Ogilvie did, someone that is forward thinking, that can put ideas and plans into action.
There has got to be people in our game that can take it forward, but the people in position right now are taking us nowhere. Is it not about time we started changing the people that are running the game?
