IT has been quite a year in the Scottish Championship.
Ayr United, Inverness and Ross County have all enjoyed spells at the top of the table, part-timers Alloa have fought valiantly against relegation while pre-season promotion contenders Falkirk and Partick Thistle have occupied the bottom two spots in the league for the vast majority of the season.
There is now just a single round of games left to play and while the league title and the play-off contenders have been decided for a few weeks, things could hardly be tighter at the bottom. Four teams can still be relegated, and nothing is certain.
