CELTIC are monitoring Houston Dynamo striker Alberth Elis, according to his Honduras team-mate and Hoops star Emilio Izaguirre.
The Celtic full back is mulling over a new one-year deal at Parkhead, but he announced this week he still hopes to get a move to the MLS.
And he's revealed that Celtic are looking at 23-year-old international striker Elis, who has nine goals for Honduras in 21 appearances and has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce also.
Per reports, Alberth Elis could be staying in Houston until at least the summer transfer window...

Izaguirre said: "Celtic have asked me about a few players from Honduras.
"They've asked me several times about Elis. Who knows? Maybe one day they will sign players from Honduras like me.
"Honduras has some very good players, but the professional part of things is sometimes missing.
"Here at Celtic, here you have to forget everything else and be a professional for 24/7 and when you play in matches, you give everything."
Elis has already netted four goals in just seven starts for Houston this season and has 26 in total after moving from Monterrey two years ago.
