DANNY Wilson admits he and his Colorado Rapids team-mates should "hang our heads in shame" after racking up the worst start to a season in MLS history.
The former Rangers and Hearts defender and ex-Tynecastle winger Sam Nicholson have not managed a single victory in their opening 11 games this term.
Sunday’s 3-2 defeat at home to Real Salt Lake ensured the Denver outfit equalled their visitors’ dismal winless streak of 2007 and left them without a victory since October last year.

Old Firm gap is no longer a gulf as Rangers raise hopes of a title triumph next termNow, Wilson, Nicholson and their Colorado colleagues, who have managed just two draws, will set a new unwanted tally unless they can overcome LA Galaxy away from home next Monday.
Wilson said: “Obviously it doesn’t give me any satisfaction, being part of that.
“I think we can all hang our heads in shame for having the worst start.
“But we’re the people who are here, we’re the only people who can do anything about it.
“There have been games recently where we’ve been not far away, and I think that is the most frustrating thing.
“All we can do is put the work in and try to turn it around.”
