RANGERS defender Jon Flanagan won't face a Scottish FA suspension for his Old Firm flashpoint with Scott Brown.
The full-back was booked by referee Kevin Clancy for catching the Celtic skipper with an elbow during the Light Blues' 2-0 win at Ibrox.
Compliance Officer Clare Whyte raised a case against Flanagan and a hearing was held at Hampden on Friday morning.
Rangers have successful defended Flanagan and he will now be free to face Kilmarnock this weekend.
A club spokesperson said: "Obviously we have concerns about the process but we are happy the correct decision has been upheld."
