SCOTLAND international James Morrison has urged West Brom colleague Rekeem Harper to snub Celtic because there would be no guarantees he gets a game with the Hoops.

The 19-year-old England youth international is out of contract with The Hawthorns club and has been offered another more lucrative deal by West Brown, after he rejected their initial offer, to keep him out of Celtic's clutches.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon personally watched the midfielder this month and is considering a move for Harper, who will play for his country at the Toulon Tournament this summer.

But Morrison, who is also out of contract with the Baggies, doesn't believe moving to Glasgow would be a good career switch for Harper.

He pointed out: "In midfield next season there’s only Rak, Sam Field, Jake Livermore and Chris Brunt. He’s got a chance to play.
"Is he guaranteed that at Celtic? He’s not. And that’s a tough place to play too."
