Celtic are reportedly keen on bringing 32-year-old Uruguay striker Cristhian Stuani to Parkhead, according to the Scotsman. Stuani scored 19 goals for La Liga's Girona this season, but Celtic could face stiff competition for the forward's signature with Barcelona said to be interested in bringing the forward in as back-up to Luis Suarez.

Oldham reject Rangers' bid for Edmundson

Oldham Athletic have rejected a third approach from Rangers for 21-year-old defender George Edmundson, report the Scottish Sun. Hull and Peterborough have also had bids of their own rejected, and Wigan, Derby and Stoke are all reportedly monitoring the centre-back.

McGeouch considering Sunderland future
