CELTIC are Scotland's only club to have been awarded a platinum license from the SFA, Rod Petrie is set to become the 53rd president of the SFA and Sheyi Ojo is set to follow in the footsteps of Ryan Kent at Rangers.

Celtic granted platinum license

The SFA have published a dossier rating each Scottish Premiership club's stadium, first team, youth team and legal and adminstrative operations and granted licenses accordingly, report the Scottish Sun. Celtic are the only club to have recieved a platinum award, with Rangers being granted a silver. Hibernian, St Johnstone and St Mirren were awarded gold, Dundee and Livingston were granted bronze, and the remaining five clubs were given silver.

'Ojo can replicate Kent success'

Chris Jack reckons that Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo, who is on the verge of completing a one-year loan move to Rangers, should use Ryan Kent's successful stint at Ibrox as a template for success.

Clarke: I see improvements already

Scotland manager Steve Clarke has insisted that his players have already improved under his guidance in the wake of Belgium's 3-0 win over the national side last night. Clarke said: "There are things to work on but overall the feeling is that we have grown a little bit as a squad of players already and the next camp we should grow again because it is two vital home qualifiers for us against the two favourites to go out of the group so we have to be ready for that."

Petrie set to be appointed SFA president

Hibernian chairman Rod Petrie will today be appointed as the 53rd president of the SFA, according to reports in the Edinburgh Evening News. The 63-year-old is uncontested and will replace Alan McRae following a general meeting at Hampden this afternoon.

Ball rejects permanent Pittodrie move

Rotherham defender Dom Ball, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Aberdeen, has knocked back the chance to sign for the Pittodrie club permanently according to the Scottish Sun. The 23-year-old is a free agent now that his Rotherham contract has expired, but rejected the opportunity for a permanent stay in the Granite City.

Ex-Thistle defender Lindsay on the move?

Barnsley defender Liam Lindsay looks set to depart the club with a number of teams chasing the defender's signature, report the Scottish Sun. Italian side Brescia have already had a £1 million bid rejected for the former Partick Thistle defender, with West Brom, Derby, Stoke, Middlesbrough and Brentford all reportedly interested in the 23-year-old.

Motherwell still waiting on Cadden decision

Motherwell winger Chris Cadden has yet to decide if he will sign a contract extension at Fir Park with a number of clubs in Scotland and England keeping track of the midfielder's situation, report the Scottish Sun. If Cadden were to agree a move elsewhere, then a significant development fee would have to be paid by the new club.
