ROSS MCCRORIE was relieved his stint between the sticks was a short-lived experience after standing in as goalkeeper against Hibernian.
The midfielder played the final minutes of Rangers' Ibrox victory in an unfamiliar position after Allan McGregor was sent off.
And he enjoyed a joke with twin brother Robby after standing in as keeper for Steven Gerrard's side.
McCrorie said: “It was a wee bit scary! So it was a good job it was only for a couple of minutes at the end of the game.
“I didn’t have a lot to do. I was just taking one for the team and making sure that we got the win in the end.

“I played there before in a trial game. One of the coaches didn’t have a keeper and I was watching so he asked if I wanted to go in the nets. I tried it for a laugh, but I was useless.
“I think Jacko (Ryan Jack) wanted to go for it but there weren’t many of them forthcoming! I had a good laugh about it with Robby.
“Robby played in the Helsinki game so I wasn’t the first one to do it. It was just one of those things. It happens.”
