Today, we've selected Rangers' away strip from 1997/98 and the away shirt from 2005/06 in our Greatest Kits reader poll.
Away 97/98
The 1997/98 campaign is one that Rangers fans will likely look back on as something of a missed opportunity. The club were gunning for a record tenth consecutive league titles but eventuall finished second to Celtic. While things didn't quite work out on the pitch as well as supporters would have liked, this away strip is a beauty and one of the better memories from what was ultimately a disappointing campaign.
Away 05/06
The 2005/06 season will ultimately be remembere by Rangers fans for Paul Le Guen's underwhelming spell as Ibrox boss. However, there were a couple of matters that would go on to prove vital for the coming seasons. Firstly, Walter Smith returned to the club for what would be a successful second spell, and Kris Boyd moved to Ibrox and scored heaps of goals in the coming years.
