RANGERS investors Club 1872 have voted to back a resolution that will allow key Ibrox figures to convert loans into shares in RIFC plc.
A General Meeting will be held on Wednesday as chairman Dave King and the Three Bears - George Letham, George Taylor and Douglas Park - look to turn millions of pounds worth of soft loans into shares following the conclusion of the Takeover Panel case.
Club 1872 are currently the second largest shareholders in RIFC plc and will use their holding to approve the proposal after 93.5% of members voted in favour.
Just 3.6% of members voted against, while 2.9% abstained.
