Steven Gerrard 'rejects an approach from Derby'
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has rejected an approach from Derby County according to The Times. The Championship club is said to be making contingency plans for the anticipated departure of Frank Lampard to Chelsea. The report in The Times comes despite claims that no such approach has been made. Rangers released a short statement to clarify Gerrard remains solely focused on the club saying: "Let's get one or two things clear. Our manager has not been approached and he remains one hundred per cent committed to the job he has here."

Celtic pull the plug on David Turnbull
Norwich have accepted a £3.25m offer from English Premier League new boys Norwich City for David Turnbull. It comes after Celtic pulled out of the race to sign the highly-rated 19-year-old. Turnbull and his agent Liam O'Donnell will now hold talks with the Canaries with a view to the midfielder heading south. (The Herald)

Arsenal are thought to be considering a bid for Celtic's Kieran Tierney after manager Unai Emery identified the 22-year-old Scotland international as his top left-back target. (Daily Mail)
Daniel Arzani back in the mix for Celtic
Daniel Arzani has said he is almost ready to go once again for Celtic following his ACL injury. The Machester City loanee said: “At the moment, with where my heads at, I’m just focusing on getting my body right now, feeling good again, feeling that I’m not scared about changing direction or anything. I just want to play. I’ll focus on that after. I just want that one full game first. Firstly, I need to get back into training and so well and having the gaffer’s faith in me to put me on.” (The Herald)
