The fixture list for the 2019/20 season has been announced with the opening fixtures taking place on the weekend of 3/4 August.
There is once again a winter break with top-flight clubs getting a fortnight off in the first two weeks of January 2020.
There is also a two-week international break in August.

The split will take place on the weekend of April 4/5 with the final round of games being played on the weekend of May 16/17.
Here are a few key dates and fixtures to mark in the diary.
The opening week
Saturday, August 3rd
Aberdeen v Heart of Midlothian
Celtic v St Johnstone
Hibernian v St Mirren
Livingston v Motherwell
Ross County v Hamilton Academical
Sunday, August 4
Kilmarnock v Rangers (Live on Sky Sports, 1.30pm)
The first meeting of Celtic and Rangers, Saturday, August 31st
Rangers will host Celtic on August 31st at Ibrox. With both sides winning their games at home against their famous rivals last season, the opening clash, just four weeks in, could give an early indication of where the title is heading.

The first Edinburgh Derby, Saturday, September 21st
Hibernian will host Hearts at Easter Road on Saturday, September 21st. After Hearts fast start to the season, they faded away and with both sides shooting for Europe this season it is likely to be a tasty encounter.
Celtic v Rangers New Year clash, Sunday, December 28
Celtic will host Rangers at Celtic Park in the last game of 2019, and the last game before the winter break. Celtic won 1-0 and 2-1 at home last season and will be looking to end the year on a high.
The first game post-winter break, Wednesday, 22nd January 2020
Rangers were close to Celtic last season coming off the winter break but the Champions showed their class with the break being a factor in their strong end to the season. The first game back could set the tone with Aberdeen hosting Motherwell, Hibs facing Hamilton, Kilmarnock at home to Celtic, Livingston at St Johnstone, Rangers at home to St Mirren and Hearts away to Ross County.
