KENNY Miller will sign for Partick Thistle today after securing his release from Dundee.

The 39-year-old will put pen to paper on a one-year deal for the Firhill club after being persuaded to spearhead the Thistle attack by his former Celtic team-mate Gary Caldwell.

Thistle have lost attackers Scott McDonald and Kris Doolan this summer, but Miller will now jet out to join the Jags squad at their pre-season training camp in La Manga as Thistle look to mount a challenge for promotion back to the Premiership
