Celtic target Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo was involved in a tussle with Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos during last season's Europa League group stage.
The left-back clashed with the Colombian in an off-the-ball incident during Rapid Vienna's home tie against Gers.
Bolingoli-Mbombo cleared the danger within his own half in the dying minutes of his side's 1-0 win before Morelos appeared to clip his heels.
But the fiery defender, 24, wasn't prepared to let things go and aimed a swipe at Morelos.
The latter hit the deck but Belgian Mbombo wasn't punished over the incident.
