Celtic have powered back above rivals Rangers in the Global Club Soccer less than 24 hours after the Ibrox club sat prettier on the stats site.

But it didn't take long for the Hoops to storm in front as they now sit 98 instead of the previous rank of 106, while Gers have plummeted dramatically from 92 on the list to 131.

Rangers previously had a 1.9 average goal rating with a 1.1 defensive average but now have 1.8 and 1.2 respectively on the list of analytics from FiveThirtyEight.

On the other hand Celtic had a 1.6 average goal rating with a 0.9 defensive average but now have a 1.7 rating and remain on 0.9 defensively.

Man City top the list with an average goal rating of 3.0 and a defensive average of just 0.2.

In Scottish terms, Kilmarnock are the closest challengers all the way back in 357 place while fourth placed Aberdeen are 363.

Dundee are the lowest ranked Scots outfit at 608.
