Arsenal have abandoned their plans to try and sign Kieran Tierney after they failed in another attempt to sign the 22-year-old fullback. According to Alison McConnell in The Herald, there was another multi-layered bid made on Monday for Tierney from the English Premier League side but Celtic rejected the deal that would have been paid in various instalments. Rangers could be forced to pay Mike Ashley's Sports Direct company millions of pounds in their long-running High Court fight over merchandise rights. Rangers' bid to limit any potential damages to only a £1m payout if the ruling went against them was also dismissed by Judge Persey (Daily Record)
