Ross County midfielder Jamie Lindsay looks set to sign for Rotherham - and the deal could be done in the next 24 hours.

The ex-Celtic youngster starred for the Staggies in their Championship winning season, playing 48 times in all competitions last season.

Rotherham boss Paul Warne has remained interested in Lindsay, 23, despite being County attempting to put The Millers off by a reported £250,000 asking price.

However it is now understood the former Scotland youth cap will pen a deal down south this week after agreeing a move away from the Highlands.

Lindsay is in his final year of his contract at County but the newly promoted outfit don’t want to lose him.

But they’ve previously outlined their refusal to lose any player on the cheap.
