Speculation linking Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos to Crystal Palace could be over after the Eagles signed Jordan Ayew.
Swansea hitman Ayew, 27, left Swansea for Selhurst Park on a three-year deal.
He had spent last term on loan at Palace.
The move means Roy Hodgson may have ended his search for another striker - killing dead any potential swoop for Colombian Morelos this summer.

Welcome back, @jordan_ayew9!#CPFC
We told previously how Morelos fuelled rumours that he was being courted by Palace after sharing a post linking the pair on social media.
Light Blues manager Steven Gerrard previously admitted any club who wanted Morelos would have to stump up the cash early in a bid to land their man.
But it doesn't look like Palace will be the team to sign the striker, if anyone can tempt Gers to part with their star man.
Eintracht Frankfurt are also reportedly interested in Morelos.
