Rangers fans are convinced target Ryan Kent is dropping serious hints at an Ibrox return - by posting cryptic messages on Instagram.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard is desperate to get Kent back on loan this season and has made no secret of his hopes of sealing a deal.

Kent, though, has impressed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp with his performances in pre-season against the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.

But the rumour mill has been running rampant that Kent would fancy a return to Glasgow after the 22-year-old deleted all links to Liverpool from his social media page, keeping just one pic from his footie career on Insta - his Rangers goal against Celtic.

Glasgow Times:

In his story, Kent even shared a picture of himself and another of pop icon Prince with the word "slave" written on his cheek.

And the posts have sent Gers fans into overdrive at the prospect of Kent returning.

One said: "Ryan Kent’s Instagram cleanup is interesting".

"Let's discuss???"

One commented: "Ryan Kent has deleted all insta posts... Except these. He's coming, lads".

A fourth wrote: "Looks like he wants to go and liverpool are refusing".

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard recently admitted he'd happy wait until the last SECOND if it meant Kent re-signed at Ibrox.
