Rangers’ Europa League clash against Progres Niederkorn will be refereed by a former REALITY TV STAR.

Whistler Ivaylo Stoyanov is a former contestant on popular Bulgarian dating show ‘Moyata Golyama TB svatba’, which translates as ‘My Big TV Wedding’.

Stoyanov even met Fotka Andonova through the programme and they are now married.

As well as his exploits on the small screen, Stoyanov is considered one of Bulgaria’s top officials and has been a regular in the Europa League in recent campaigns.

Indeed, he was the man in the middle in Malta in July 2016 when Hearts drew 0-0 with Birkirkara, planting the seeds for a humiliating continental exit.

The minnows claimed a 2-1 win at Tynecastle a week later to progress.

Meanwhile, Slovenian referee Rade Obrenovic, who oversaw a famous 2-0 win for Scotland’s under-21 side against the Netherlands two years ago, has been assigned to Aberdeen’s second leg against Chikhura Sachkhare.
