Former Rangers boss Mark Warburton is 'ready to swoop' for Scotland defender David Bates.
The QPR manager had been interested in Aberdeen stopper Scott McKenna but recently had a £3million offer rejected by the Dons.
It appears he has now turned his attention to Hamburg star Bates, according to the Scottish Sun.

The pair worked together at Ibrox after Warburton brought the player to the club from Raith Rovers.
Bates has been praised by members of the German media as well as his club on numerous occasions and helped them to fourth place in the German Bundesliga 2 last season.
