Rangers sent scouts to Romania last week to run the rule over 'Neymar of the Balkans' Stefan Baiaram, according to reports.
The tricky 16-year-old was reportedly being watched by Ibrox representatives.
Manchester City and Norwich talent spotters are also understood to have been in attendance as the lad's Craiova side lost 2-0 in their Europa League qualifier against AEK Athens.

Baiaram - dubbed the area's Neymar, according to the Daily Record, didn't feature in the match, however, leading to more speculation that AEK left-back Niklas Hult may indeed have been the intended recipient of watching eyes.
The latter played 90 minutes as the Greeks ran out comfortable winners, notching two away goals in the process.
